You may split your week into two sections within your ownership season. You can make one reservation for Sunday - Wednesday and then a separate reservation running Wednesday - Sunday.

Bonus Time is in addition to the Ownership-Use Week. Bonus Time is a discounted rental rate that may be used throughout the entire year, subject to availability.

Spontaneity is Bonus Time, but at a crazy low rate which motivates owners to say, “Why not?” This brings owners to the resort in perhaps a different season or at a different time then they might have come in the past. Spontaneity occurs during periods when bookings at OVI are slow which is usually for a short period in the Spring or Fall, it all depends on how full or empty the resort is. It is not preplanned. It is well, spontaneous. An email goes out to owners announcing the dates available and the pricing. Rooms are first come, first served.

If you don’t plan to use your week, Grand Pacific Vacation Services has several options to help you get the most out of your vacation ownership. They are experts at marketing units like yours to get them booked at the highest rate. As an owner benefit you can rent your week with them, or if for any reason they are not able to rent your week, you can opt to have your week automatically banked with your owner-only exchange, GPX, allowing you to vacation in hundreds of different destinations worldwide.

Participation in the RCI Points program is entirely optional for Olympic Village Inn owners. For owners who primarily use their time at the resort this may or may not be of interest, but for owners who exchange, this has proven to be a topic of major interest. For more information, click here.

What do I own?
A deeded timeshare that entitles you to one week of use per year at Olympic Village Inn.

What is a deeded timeshare?
You own a portion of the Real Property that you can buy and sell just like other real estate.

Do I pay taxes?
Yes, you would get an annual property tax bill from Placer County.

How many units are there?
There are 90 one-bedroom condominiums that each sleeps 4 people.

Are there different types of units?
There are two floor plans available. There are 82 Kitzbuhel Units at 375 sq ft and there are 8 Chamonix Units which are 675 sq ft.

Can I use my unit different times of year?
You can only reserve during your season either summer, winter or fall/spring. You can use Bonus Time, Spontaneity or exchange to visit during other times of year.

How are weeks “split” ?
You can split your week into two separate visits Sunday Night-Wednesday Night or Thursday Night-Saturday Night.

Is there an annual fee?
Yes, there is a yearly maintenance fee that goes toward maintaining the resort and resort services. The current fee is $1108 per week per year (less than $160 per night), which is much cheaper than renting.

Do I have to use the same week every year?
No, you can reserve time for any week during your season.

How do I make a reservation?
Reservations can be made by calling Owner Services number 1-800-568-3515.

Can I change my reservation?
Yes, up to two weeks before your visit subject to availability.

How far in advance can I make reservations?
Early reservations are encouraged. You can reserve roughly 1 year + 300 days in advance. See our reservation calendar.

How does the rental program work?
Units can be rented through Owner Services for a 35% fee. Or rent the unit on your own (friends, family, Airbnb, VRBO, etc.)

What happens after I buy?
Title is transferred to you by the previous owner and a deed is recorded with Placer County.

Is there an HOA?
Yes. The Village Inn Owners’ Association is nonprofit entity composed of all the owners of Olympic Village Inn. You can learn more about the HOA here.
