Reviews
For decades, owners and guests of Olympic Village Inn have returned to enjoy a relaxing, resort-like experience in one of the most beautiful mountain towns in the country. Here are a few reviews from our guests.
I absolutely loved my stay at Olympic Village Inn! The entire resort is incredibly charming and has such a warm, welcoming feel. It also feels extremely safe and family-friendly, which really stood out to me. My room was adorable, exceptionally clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Everyone I interacted with was genuinely friendly and went above and beyond. I had a maintenance question during my stay, and it was addressed immediately. The level of service was truly impressive. The newly updated courtyard is beyond spectacular! The beautiful 360-degree mountain views are breathtaking, and the entire setting is so peaceful. One of my favorite parts of the trip was sitting on my balcony working while listening to the fountain below and taking in the scenery. It honestly doesn’t get much better than that. Olympic Village Inn is such a special little gem. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it! Sarah
New walkways. 2 remodeled spas. Trees and plants updated for a private but natural environment. Updating paint, structures and railings is occurring. 6 new grills and new washer and dryers.

We are SO impressed by the new landscaping! A huge change & improvement! We liked it before & yet we can see how this landscaping remodel alone has elevated our experience here. A downside though for us is that we have always preferred the Rooms 125-129 for our stays to be close to the pool & clubhouse, though we have discovered during our stay in 127 just how noisy it is when guests are in the new spa. Had to ask security to intervene one evening after listening to the spa noise for at least an hour while we were trying to listen to the TV. At this point, it seems to be an issue for these nearby rooms—hopefully there’ll will be a solution before our future stays! We’re just so happy to be up here again, see the new landscaping, and see the friendly helpful OVI staff again too! OVI still remains a very special place in our hearts & in our lives after nearly 40 years of being owners!

Hi, being up front, I want to say it has not been terrible. The room is ok, but a bit smaller than what I was expecting and perhaps a bit more worn than I was expecting too. The reason I did not give it a great rating is that when I went to take a shower for the first time. The knob for controlling the water temperature was so loose, I could not get it set properly. However, as there are two shower heads, I was able to shower with that one, but had to stoop down to wash my hair. Secondly, the container for the body wash was empty. I went to the front desk to report it and the lady working the desk told me the maintenance man would come to my room at 9:00 AM. So I waited. Well the schedule time came and went and nothing. I went back to the front desk and informed the same lady. Perhaps she had been busy, but she did not remember why I had come down and I had to tell her again what the issue was. She said the maintenance man would be right up. Well, I had to wait again, but after a while he did show up. Thankfully, he did fix the problem. My wife had gotten a bottle of body wash and he installed it.
I have to say, the shower knobs in my room are difficult to pull out to get the water flowing. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere where they were that stiff. Now I realize that this is an old building and there is some charm in it being the housing for the 1960 Olympic athletes.
I do enjoy the nostalgia, but the rooms are in need of updating. I’m in room 202, maybe you’ve remodeled other ones? I just don’t know. I did hear a gentleman who was staying in room 300 really enjoyed his room. I guess he didn’t have any problems during his stay, I wish I could say the same.
I’ve stayed at Marriott resorts and I found that they were excellent at providing feedback to guests using text messages. It would have been nice to have gotten a message informing me that the maintenance person was running late. That would have helped a lot.
Lastly, on this review, I didn’t want to make it public. But it seems I have to check the checkbox to finish this up. Maybe have a second checkbox to say I don’t want to share it could be added?
