I've been an owner here for 25 years. It's the perfect location to enjoy all that Olympic Valley has to offer, from skiing at Palisades Tahoe to enjoying the Village to riding bikes next to the Truckee river. Recent upgrades to the rooms and the public areas have only improved the OVI experience.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the history of the place was fascinating and exciting to experience. We would definitely recommend it, as long as you’re not expecting modern amenities in the room.

The history and proximity to the Village

I think the hot tubs are emitting a chemical smell, especially when the jets are on, and hope something can be done.

Guest services is not very welcoming or friendly.
More attention to the checkin/out process.

Not use so much bleach in the rooms! The smell really bothered my husband.
Nice new hot tubs that were hot, but too much chlorine in them.
