I seriously enjoyed this place! I wasn’t sure what to expect being an older building built for the Olympics. It is so clean and nicely taken care of! Very cool vibes. I loved the social events. Had some wonderful hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps. DirectTV and popcorn in the rooms was nice. The shuttle is so convenient and their driver Michaela is the best! The hot tubs are nice and new. Ski check is great! Management and staff were awesome. The only thing I would recommend is a top floor room if you’re a sensitive sleeper. There’s nothing you can do about that in a historic building though. Truly 5 stars. I will be back and I’ve already told my friends all about it. Oh PS. Even when I checked out they were so sweet and gave me a cookie! The little things matter and go a long way. Thank you!

I don’t know, I honestly really enjoyed it. The only thing is the noise from the other rooms, but you can’t do much about that being a historic building. I was very happy
I loved the social events! I loved the shuttle. I loved my cookie even during check out.

I don't have a cell phone, only email and a landline. So when you text asking how our week is going, I don't get that. Please ALSO email it! Love the new hot tubs, except there's not enough hooks.... capacity is 12, so we need 12 ROBE hooks (tall, not short). We have 5. So please put hooks on the back also, and add some flooring. Also the exit door is a pain. Go use the other one? The one marked "Emergency Exit"? Where is the NORMAL exit? The bubbles in the new spas sometimes spit at you. You have to stop it and re-start. Also folks leave them on when they leave. We need a SIGN at the controls saying "Press button to turn off jets when done or if they are too bubbly." Also we need a LIGHT at the round hot tub by the pool. It is very dark and unsafe.
You've also removed the walkway we used to have where the new pool equipment building is. Therefore, when in the gym, and need help on a machine or someone needs medical assistance, the phone is FAR away. I had to exit the gym, walk down the ramp, all AROUND the Birch spa, go into the pool door, and enter the lounge to get to a phone. Maybe add a phone in the gym??
Make sure the activities don't conflict! We had yoga on Thursday from 4-5, then the front desk has mulled wine also 4-5 pm, so we couldn't do both. We asked them if they could go until 5:10 and got a "No, we're short staffed, and can't even leave it out past 5 pm." WHAT? And they weren't nice~
We pay for these activities through our maintenance fees, and we would like to be able to participate in ALL of them! Having conflicting activities doesn't serve the owners.
So close to Palisades! and the shuttle ROCKS! We don't have to use our car or pay for parking there.
We also love the new fire pits, but think you should let owners turn them on (it's easy) instead of calling and waiting for maintenance to show up!

It's a great historic building to stay in - and we really like it's rustic call back to the 1960's Olympics.
One issue though is that we made reservation online - and a website intercepted us (Guest Reservations). It was almost an exact copy of the true Olympic Village website - only they tacked on a $400.+ fee at the end and coupled it with a 24 hour cancelation fee -even at 12 days out - lots of fine print - If you are partnered with them maybe you can insist on a better agreement for your customers - we really felt tricked and diminishes our enthusiasm for visiting again.
Another item is perhaps establishing a pedestrian path to the village - we always feel a little exposed walking to the village.
We really like the rustic historic feel - the open corridors to the outside - the quirky layout is fine. We like the fireplaces even though we do not use them.
