Loved the location and the serene atmosphere during the off season time

Comfortable. Quiet. One bedroom suites with a kitchenette, balcony. Hot tub, heated outdoor pool, and a sauna. A peaceful retreat away from the village, a 5 minute walk. Behind the hotel is a hiking trail, the Granite Chief, definitely one to do.

This is an old resort so in need of updates which they are now starting. Otherwise, great!

Olympic Village Inn is THE best place to stay for your vacation. I've been fortunate to be an owner since 1987. I moved to Tahoe from the Bay Area (San Jose) in Oct 2019. I spent the first two months living at OVI (I used a booked winter week, bonus time reduced rate, and spontaneity days to do that.) The housekeeping staff at OVI are amazing! I don't know how they're able to take the time to create those cool looking bed decorations with hand towels like they do, but they they do. If you have up to four in your party, and want an amazing iconic place to stay in Tahoe, this is it! (Only a 5 min walk to the Tram and other parking lot level lifts.) I love being an OVI owner. Can't wait to spend Winter 2025/26 there!

Location, rooms and the staff is the best people you can talk with, nice feeling to be in the same hotel that the Olympic athletes stayed long time ago.

I stayed for 7 nights and had a fantastic experience! The room was very comfortable, and the location is perfect—close to everything with a super convenient shuttle service. The drivers were always friendly and right on time. The staff at Olympic Village Inn were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. I also appreciated that the gym had everything I needed to keep up with my routine. Overall, it was a great ski vacation, and I’ll definitely consider staying at OVI again the next time I visit Palisades (formerly Squaw Valley). Lisa Johnson~Novato, CA

Where do I begin? To visit here was a dream come true to me for so many reasons. Snowboarding each Day has been incredible, the room is perfect, and the building is so cool. I had dreamt of visiting the Olympic Village Inn more and more as I grew obsessed with Olympic history throughout my life. To me this property is truly the core of the base area of this mesmerizing Ski area due to it’s history, unique design and charm. A short walk to the shops, restaurants and lifts, but tucked away just enough to provide a quiet, cozy place to relax with exceptional views. Once used to house Olympic athletes, and now a comfort for all who are lucky enough to reserve time within its walls. There is a ski movie that actually got me into the sport from 1983 that shows a quick glimpse of the property in one scene. To get the opportunity to stay here leaves me speechless. This year I was finally able to visit and not only was it as beautiful as I hoped, the staff made it all that more perfect an experience! Jenny went out her way to feed my craving for the olympic history this property has, and went above and beyond to make my visit unforgettable! At a place that possesses enough magic all by itself Jenny went out of her way with her top shelf hospitality. Thank you for everything!
